Al Mack Celebrates Twenty-five Years in the Industry
Posted by Florence Brewer on Thursday, March 25th, 2010 at 3:32pm.Coldwell Banker Willis-Smith real estate agent Al Mack celebrates twenty-five years in the business by always focusing on the one unchanging rule of real estate - exceptional customer service.
The game may have stayed the same but the rules have changed greatly over the past twenty-five years. "When I first started, there were no cell phones or faxes and emails to send," mentioned Al Mack. "Now the technology available means transactions can be handled at a faster rate and the realtor is able to meet clients' needs faster. However, what can be lost now is the relationship you build with the client."
Continuing to focus on customer service is the reason why Mack can say that 75% of his business is based on client referrals and repeat business. Mack also feels that "it is important to under stand the local market by keeping up with buyer and selling trends. Each client is unique so you must understand each customer's needs and wants. Mack understands that what is happening in the market so he can better serve his customer - a first time home-buyer purchasing a starter home or an experienced buyer purchasing a large waterfront estate.
"Al Mack's experience with real estate and life in New Bern has made our move to this area a seamless one," said new resident Leigh Healy. "He has helped us with numerous, non-real estate related questions, over the last 2 years-our affection for him is most obvious by his nickname in our home, Uncle Al!"
After working with Al for over 12 years, Danny Paul mentioned that while purchasing his waterfront property Al "once again put in that extra effort to make sure we had a good grasp of what was available at what price range and the pros and cons of each area." "He represented our interest well, knows the market and has the energy and follow-through to make even a tough buy and a tough sell in today's housing climate."
"With Al Mack you know you will be served by someone whose integrity is not negotiable. He gets the desired results in a highly professional manner. Al knows the market through his many years in real estate and gets the job done" says Stephen Cella. "I have referred my friends, family and coworkers to Al with total confidence."
Mack also strongly feels that giving back to the community is important and contributes his success to this. He is a member of the New Bern Civitan Club and is a past president; a member of New Bern Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Craven. Mack is also a past recipient of the Coldwell Banker President's Circle award, which acknowledges the top 10% of realtors nationwide.
Mack resides in New Bern with his wife, Terri. He is an avid tennis player and plays in the USTA Senior Statewide tournaments and is a member of Christ Episcopal Church in New Bern.
