            <title>Home Auctions in New Bern?  Who would have thought?</title>
            <description> <![CDATA[ Auction First, an Auction Company out of Cary, NC and Austin, Texas, came to New Bern last week to auction off a small historic home in the Riverside Historic District that had sat unsold for over a year and declined in price. Well, wouldn't you know the auction couldn't be opened by the Auctioneer because the buyers showed up and weren't prepared. I guess they forgot to read the small print, but not all is lost.
