When I’m asked this question by a prospective buyer, I usually take a deep breath and say "Well there’s the Tryon Palace and, oh yeah, the Firemen’s Museum". Then silence...well I was tired of the silence so I started doing some research... and WOW, does New Bern have activities for children! Pump it Up - the new Inflatable Party Zone; they have classes to build motor skills as well as Jump and Art which combines art classes and playtime. Playdate – with ‘Drop in Child Care’ and ‘Parents Night Out’. Right next door to Pump It Up and Playdate is Sound Fitness & Golf which has an EcoFitness Kids - Power Hour every Tuesday after school for children ages 6-11.
