Dragon Boat racing, America's fastest growing water sport, returns for its second year in Oriental, NC. The event takes place along the Neuse River waterfront of southeastern Pamlico County on Friday and Saturday, July 22nd and 23rd. Dragon Boats are the world’s largest flat water racing canoes, propelled by a crew of 20 plus a drummer and a steersperson. Teamwork is everything in dragon boat racing. Synchronicity is more important than strength. Organizers can accommodate up to 24 teams and the event is open to companies, clubs, churches, neighborhoods, and non profits.

It's all happening this weekend starting with the Oriental Boat Show Friday, April 15th through Sunday, April 17th at Pecan Grove Marina produced by the Oriental Rotary Club.
