New Bern has been full of fall colors for the past months. No one can imagine, unless you are here, just how beautiful this community looks. Nestled between two large rivers with a casual walkway on the water all around the city, anyone can enjoy this 60 to 70 degree weather.
In the past 30 days, we have had “Ghost Walk”, the “Mum Festival”, the “Bike MS Historic New Bern”, Neuse River Run, “ArtWalk”, and numerous performances at Tryon Palace. This town is brimming with enjoyable things to do. Everyone can find something that fits their fancy. Now, having said all that, do come to New Bern and experience this delightful community. You will never be sorry and, I bet, you will want to come here to stay.
Happy Thanksgiving,

See denizens of the past throughout historic New Bern.
On Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. take a stroll through Cedar Grove Cemetary and hear the stories its inhabitants have to tell - don't be scared - they're just ghosts! On Saturday and Sunday, you will find ghosts throughout New Bern's downtown and historic districts along with the Tryon Palace from 5 to 9 p.m. And don’t miss Agony Alley for the kids!
