Professional Experience

Formerly a Sales and Marketing Executive in the high technology industry, John has brought to his real estate practice a wealth of relevant Corporate experience, especially in the areas of advertising, e-marketing, direct marketing, economics, financing and negotiating. Real estate experience includes the residential market, 1031 exchanges, multi-residential developments, commercial buildings, lots and custom home buildings.

Education
John started his career as a Telecommunications Systems Engineer and progressed to become an Executive in a Fortune 500 high technology company where he managed a large Sales and Marketing organization. He obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in England and studied towards his Masters of Engineering Management at the University of Santa Clara.
John left the high technology industry and since 1998 has been a full time REALTOR, and now a Broker Associate teaming with his sister, Janet Dore. John has obtained in-depth training in all areas of real-estate and has gained considerable experience by representing multiple buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions

John has been a Palo Alto resident since 1980. He is married with two children both of whom attended Gunn High School.
