Personal Background

After growing up in Poughkeepsie New York and graduating from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Valerie moved to San Francisco where she began a successful career in Retail. Working as a senior executive for several high profile retailers like Macy's, The Nature Company, The Discovery Channel Stores and Cost Plus World Market she managed large, multi-million dollar divisions in the home fashion area. She traveled the world including Europe, Turkey, Greece, China, Thailand, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Korea and India where she grew to appreciate and respect the diverse architecture, culture, food, and people that enrich our planet.
This experience coupled with her passion for real estate launched her second highly successful career in real estate
