I have been in the Boston real estate profession for over twenty-five years. A native of Los Angeles, I moved to San Francisco where I studied at the San Francisco Art Institute before moving to Europe. Continuing my art and design studies, I lived and worked in England, The Netherlands and Italy for 9 years before returning to the States. Landing first in New York City, I visited friends in Boston and felt an immediate connection to the exciting transformations happening to the character of the city and its environs.

It was the late 1970’s and my first professional undertaking was purchasing and operating a restaurant on Beacon Hill while also being the chef de cuisine.

After a few years, content with my culinary accomplishments, it was time to sell my restaurant and pursue a career that would bring together my passion for architecture and design along with a unique understanding and sensitivity to clients’ needs – buyers, sellers and developers in metro Boston’s exciting changing landscape.

I was particularly drawn to the new loft market as it attracted creative people and businesses to raw spaces – virtual blank canvases with minimal build-out and maximum potential. A true real estate pioneer in this niche, I worked with developers in design modifications and marketing. I have worked on loft projects including but not limited to the conversion of a downtown crossing sheet music production house into over 40 loft residences, a large light bulb factory in the Seaport converted to 42 work/live loft residences, a 32 unit residential conversion of a fur factory in the Leather District, a Box factory conversion in the seaport district to over 100 polished cement floor true blank-slate lofts.

My zeal and understanding of my clients’ needs and affinities and my keenness for unique properties opened the door to one of my most interesting projects – the sale of a full foundry abutting the Somerville rail line that was converted into a stunning single family residence.

My most recent project has been the stunning development of a collection of 10 newly built residential buildings on East 1st Street in South Boston with high-end contemporary European flair and design.

As a true collaborator with developers, architects, buyers and sellers, it has been an exceptional journey being an integral part of the Boston Real estate market change and growth and attraction of an international clientele. It has reinforced my insight and vision into discovering the new hot neighborhoods and emerging real estate markets.

With 25 years of experience, I have developed an expertise and keen sense and have a razor sharp focus on locating the best property options for my clients and identifying creative and financially successful properties for my developers.
