Jeff is probably the best real estate agent in the world. There is literally nothing else we could have asked of him from first introduction through the entire closing process. Jeff was awesome in helping us buy the house. He listened and took notes on every detail including details coming from our children. He did not bias us or rush us to take any decision. He was very patient with all of us. He knows well the area and was able to advise and show properties which would fit our needs. He was very responsive when called and texted. He negotiated with the seller's agent and updated them proactively on our moves especially during the decision making on the offers. When we needed to act on something sooner than later He would let us know. Jeff helped us sell our house recently. He gave us great advices so we spend the minimum but add great values to our house. He assisted us in staging our house and making sure it gives great first impressions. He had professional photographer taking pictures and making a 3D tour, and our house looked fabulous. It has been really pleasant to work with Jeff in the entire process of purchasing our home. Jeff is very professional, and extremely detail-oriented. He always listened to your talk carefully (and could sense your concerns), and often just went ahead to find the information to assist your decision-making without your requesting it. My husband and myself have been so impressed by the level of thoroughness of his work. For instance, he reached out to various services to get the quotes (sometimes multiple quotes for the same job) for all the potential repairs and improvement of the property. The information would be used for final price negotiation as well as for the real work after closing the property. We are now using some of these services now, and they are very good! He also called utilities to discover the average cost of the property, and services such as septic system, pest control, irrigation system, etc. for the history of maintenance. Jeff is extremely responsive. You really feel he's there for you 24/7, and always get you back immediately with insightful and valuable information. In the later process, he also acted as glue to pull all parties together, mortgage company, attorney, etc. Things were done very efficiently and smoothly. Our property is relative big, and with Jeff's help in negotiation, we've got a good deal! I truly believe that without Jeff, things might not happened so nicely. We were matched randomly by the computer system when I search properties, which I was skeptical at the first place but it's been a happy experience all the way through. I highly recommend Jeff!!!

Jeff was fantastic to work with from start to finish! He arranged a walk through on a home that had originally gone under contract before we had a chance to see it the very day it went back on the market for us. He answered every question that we had and walked us through all the steps of buying our first home. He was extremely helpful during our home inspection, asking questions we hadn't thought about or expanding on questions that we had. I was diagnosed with cancer after we signed the purchase and sale agreement and before we closed on the house, and Jeff went out of his way to help us line up the final walk through and closing, making sure to make it as easy on us as possible (and he was so kind to our autistic son throughout the entire process). He responded to text and email messages from us at all hours of the day and night, including weekends and Sunday afternoons during football games! Jeff is TOPS! We initially purchased our fixer upper home with the thought that we'd be in it for four to five years. Life in the Air Force changed quickly and Jeff was super patient with us as we picked his brain for the potential best return on investment for the renovation we were in the midst of. He actually came to the house and provided feedback for us as we were working through the details of finishes and layout. This had turned into a flip with purpose. We had an unusual sale of the house in that we could have NOT used a realtor, but given the intricacies of the MA real estate process I was absolutely willing to essentially lose money in my pocket for the benefit of having Jeff help us through it all. Although we really hope not to return to the area, if the Air Force sends us back, we will be calling him again. Jeff is my realtor.

Jeff stepped in at the last minute to help us when our initial realtor was injured in a fall. Literally, as I was waiting to board a plane to MA he called to check in and see what our needs were. He not only knows the market, he is also exceptionally knowledgeable about many aspects of the inspection process. We considered him our first line of defense when looking at any unusual or unknown factors of the houses we viewed. His diligence and experience definitely saved us from potentially trying to purchase a bad house. He also really listens to you and actually confirms his understanding of what you are discussing. Many of our conversations had the phrase, "What I hear you saying is..." or even, "As I understand it, this is what you are considering..." Buying a home is stressful; having an agent that you feel has your interests in mind is so reassuring. The initial house we had a contract on fell through. Jeff had to call us as we were driving out of town for an eight-day cross country drive and tell us that the house we thought we were moving into wasn't going to close. It was a situation driven by the seller and one he'd never experienced (how does one not comprehend that a second mortgage is an actual lien on your property?). He got right on the search for a new home for us and even had showings set up for the evening we drove into town. Nothing in our crazy situation phased him, nothing flustered him. The man is a rock. He got us through the negotiations and contract processes on two houses and even managed to negotiate a fantastic deal on our second emergency house. . Jeff is the kind of guy that after the deal is done you want to have him and his family over for burgers and football. He's Good People.

As a first time home-buyer relocating to a new state, I was fortunate to have Jeffrey Whitman as my agent. He took his time and truly worked with me to find the perfect place. He has a wealth of information about what can and cannot be accomplished in a home and how difficult the task might be to bring a home up to an acceptable living condition. He is courteous and never impatient while dealing with clients during the process of settling on the right home. He has an absolutely wonderful personality coupled with a vast knowledge of home building and renovation which helps the buyer know whether or not to tackle a modification themselves, or whether an outside contractor would be wiser. He could answer any question with enthusiasm and was always willing to give a realistic picture about a house, both its positive and negative aspects. Jeff was with me through every step of the process: from knowing the local market, viewing the properties, advising on what an offer should be to have a successful outcome, negotiating, and all the way through closing (and beyond). Honestly, he made it a great experience. I cannot recommend Jeff highly enough. In my view, he has become the standard-bearer against which all other real estate agents are measured against. In fact, if I could give him 10 stars, that would be on the conservative side!

Jeff is not only a great realtor but an all around great guy! We first contacted Jeff when moving to MA was just an idea we had and he was pleased to take us around to look at houses when we weren't even sure if we were going to relocate from NJ. Several months later, we decided that renting first would be best and Jeff completely understood and infact agreed with us. For the following year and a half, he kept in regular contact with emails and phone calls just checking in to see how we were doing and how we liked living in MA. When the time was right, we contacted Jeff again and gave him a list of "must haves" for our home search. In just days, he sent a large list of homes to view and a week later spent many hours with us on a Satuday afternoon going from house to house. Being first time home buyers, we were clueless and Jeff was not afraid to get down and dirty in crawl spaces checking for any damage or issues that may not been seen with the naked eye. He treated us like we were family and would not let us even consider a house that he knew was not a great deal! After we decided on one, he stayed with us through the entire process explaining every little detail that we may need to know. I would and will highy recommend him to anyone in need of a realtor. Jeff was phenomenal! We chose our new home from across the country, and he took the matter very seriously. He made video tours, took tons of extra photos, and was very thorough and careful in describing the property to us and making sure we fully understood its layout and construction. He led us to a wonderful loan officer to help us through the renovation loan program - no small task. He coordinated multiple contractor and appraiser visits even though the tenants occupying the home were not totally cooperative. Leading up to closing, he was constantly going to bat for us, making sure that all the documentation was in order and fighting for our closing date. He navigated a last-minute problem with the property in order to ensure it was delivered empty, even though the seller was reluctant. Jeff was always courteous, honest, friendly, positive and helpful. He was a fantastic resource and we would recommend him to anyone!

This is the second time I have used Jeff's services. There is going to be a third time too! That alone speaks volumes about Jeff! He is an excellent agent, is VERY knowledgeable about his craft, and is always there when you need him. I would recommend Jeff to anyone!

Jeff's been tremendous in helping me purchase my first home. His skills and professionalism are incomparable. He has an incredible patience. At the onset, I told him exactly the type of home I'm looking for and my price range. He showed me a number of homes over a period of 2 months before I found the home I wanted. Finding a home is one thing, negotiate a price to fit your budget range is another. Jeff suggested a reasonable price for the home. Jeff has kept in touch with me through the selling process. He followed up on things with me and on my behalf. He always emailed or called to remind me of important detail to enure everything is in place to expedite the sale. Although I had a short sale, Jeff genuinely cared about me and tried to help me to get out of a difficult situation.

Jeff was outstanding! He was extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly professional. Whenever I had a question he was always there (even when he was on vacation) and nothing was too much trouble. I trusted him completely and was always guided by him. My home sold 6 days after going on the market and the sale and purchase of my new home went very smoothly.
