About Mike Bannister

From an early adult age, I realized that investing in Real Estate was a way to secure financial freedom for me and my family. I have dabbled in bank-owned properties, condos, vacation properties, and single-family homes as investments since I graduated college. I have extensive experience in renovating and updating homes and I have acted as a General Contractor on my own projects. This experience has proven to be invaluable to me and my clients.

My passion and love for Real Estate made it a natural progression to become a realtor in 2018. I left my full-time high technology Sales job to pursue a career that allows me to leverage my decades of experience as an investor and to help others move onto their path to ownership and investment.

Some key facts about me:

• I grew up in Chelmsford Ma and currently reside in Watertown Ma (last 5 years.)
• I am Licensed in NH and MA, Over the years I have lived in Dover, Sunapee, and Manchester NH. I have an excellent understanding of the NH market and the towns in Southern NH.
• I have a master’s degree in Business Administration from Dowling College and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, U-Mass Lowell.
• I currently own 3 Rental Condos (1 in Florida, 2 in Massachusetts, and one vacation property in Tulum Mexico.) I also help my partner Andrea manage her investment property in Arlington.
• My partner Andrea is a local Boston Architect, a great resource for sure!
• I am learning Spanish as a second language. I can read, write, and comprehend.
• I am an avid Master Rower and a member of Riverside Rowing Club in Cambridge where I am active on the Building and Grounds committee.
• I am a proud father to two young adult children living stable and healthy lives. I’m also a proud dad to two small Chihuahua-Terrier pups.

One of my strongest capabilities is my ability to see the home much as a home inspector would. I have a good background in-home structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical knowledge that often echoes exactly what home inspectors later verify.

I have lived in the Metro-Boston and the Metro-North areas for most of my adult life, and I am very familiar with the surrounding towns, key characteristics, and market differentiation. I am adept at understanding market trends and timing as it relates to the “Best” time to buy and sell. I place my priority on what is best for my client and helping them achieve their goals.
