Personal Background

Allison David Poirier knows a thing or two about history and legacy. Her mother, Adele David, was a well-known TOP REALTOR in Wellesley who sold over a billion dollars of real estate.

Allison obtained her license in 2003 and worked for her mother selling in the Boston area, while raising 4 kids of her own. When Adele passed away in March 2014, she took on her mother's business full-time. She continues to implement the tools and experience she garnered from watching her mother's success while growing up. She not only keeps her mother's business and legacy going, but thriving. Allison continues the business now as a way to make her mother proud and continue her impressive legacy. "People often tell me that there was no one like my mother. And it's true. She taught me so much that has helped me get to where I am. She taught me the two most important characteristics to being a realtor, for instance: loyalty and honesty."

Allison is quick to point out that putting her clients first is the key to success. "You not only have to be a good listener in this business, you need to sense what your clients need." Many of her clients credit her genuine and happy personality as the reason she's so easy to talk to and work with. Allison is "a glass half-full" type of person.

Due to the emphasis placed on loyalty and substance, Allison finds that she often remains friends with clients. These friendships add to the strong referral network she fosters through enduring community ties. She enjoys helping people and grew up in Wellesley so has thorough understanding of the market.

Allison has been named one of Boston’s Top Brokers, was featured on the cover and in “Top Agent Magazine,” “Boston Agent Magazine for “Who’s Who in Real Estate.” In January 2021 Allison was the #8 realtor at Colwell Banker in New England out of 3700 realtors, and is ranked in the top 6% of realtors internationally. Implementing her mother's lessons has served Allison well. Coupled with a strong work ethic, they've helped her to flourish. In 12 months, she has sold over 21 million dollars in real estate. In the past 6 years she has sold over 50 million dollars in real estate.
