Mrs Corkadel is a Maryland Licensed REALTOR® for Coldwell Banker Realty servicing the greater Anne Arundel County area.

Mrs. Corkadel was born and raised on a farm in Pittsburgh, PA and studied Political Science and Communications at Pennsylvania State University, where she met her husband of 26 years.

She returned to Pittsburgh with her spouse to start a software development business and while building the business, she teamed up with others in the IT industry and served as Vice President of Business and Data Projects for Multicom Research, Inc, a small technology research firm.

The Corkadels later merged their business with a larger company and relocated to Edgewater, MD.

While raising her two children, Mrs. Corkadel served the community in a variety of civic and non-profit organizations.  Among other positions, she served on the Board of Directors for her community organization, with the Crofton Regional Community Center, and with her church and the k-8 day school it operated. Additionally, she served her church as their Sunday School Superintendent.

Mrs. Corkadel ultimately returned to the workforce as a Development Director and Operations Manager for a small architectural firm in Baltimore, MD while continuing her civic volunteer services as the County Executive Transportation Land Use and Environment Transition Team Chair (2006-07) and  Planning Advisory Board Chair for 3 concurrent years. She ran for elected public office while continuing to serve her community as a Rotarian, licensed Master Gardener and American Legion Auxiliary member, along with a variety of local charitable organizations.

Mrs. Corkadel started her own consulting firm providing Land Development, small business operations, and Land Use consulting services in 2011. In 2014, she was hired by Anne Arundel County to serve as a Constituent Services Officer. She remained in that position until she was elected to represent Councilmanic District 7 on the Board of Education of Anne Arundel Count in Dec 2018 (term ends 2024).  Since joining the Board, she has served as their Policy Committee Chair (Feb - Dec 2019); Vice President (July thru Dec 2019); and President (Dec 2019 - Dec 2020).  As a member of the County Recovery Executive Committee and education subcommittee, she continues to play a leadership role in Emergency Management Services for the Anne Arundel County communities during times of crisis.  Her current Board committee assignments are Budget and Equity and she chairs the Ad Hoc Audit Committee and Ad Hoc Emergency Management Committee , while serving the Maryland Association of Boards of Education (MABE) on the Executive Committee as President-Elect, Treasurer, as a Board of Director appointee, Chair of the Budget Committee and a member of both their Legislative and Equity committees.

Having since resumed consulting services in the development and commercial real estate industry, Mrs. Corkadel is now maximizing the benefits of these life, community, civic, and career experiences for her clients in the residential real estate industry, providing professional, well informed selling, buying and investment residential real estate services for Coldwell Banker Realty.
