Business Philosophy

Although I have been blessed with many careers (teaching, international financial markets, raising two wonderful children) my career in real estate has been energizing! I'm passionate about helping people from beginning till closing. My smallest deal was $40,000 and the largest 2.4 million! Both transactions were handled with the same attention to detail.

Education and Training

My college years were idyllic at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. After Hamilton, I attended Pace University for two years to pursue a career in school psychology until an opportunity to work in Commodity Arbitrage at Merrill Lynch came calling! My final stop on my Wall Street career was to open the Bond Department for BHF Secuities, a subsidiary of a Merchant Bank BHF Bank. Here I was honored and proud to be able to both buy and sell bonds with customers from all over the world. I also had the privilege of traveling the globe!

Community Involvement

When I moved to Franklin Lakes in 1987, I was extremely active in my community. For the last 9 years of living in Franklin Lakes, I was elected to the Franklin Lakes Board of Education and served as it's VP for the last two. Other committees include: Girl Scouts, FL Newcomers, Newsletter editor for the middle school for 2 years, CCD teacher at St. Mary's RC Church and interviewer of prospective students for Hamilton College. Now that I am living in Allendale (2005) I have joined the Allendale Women's Club and a member of the Mahwah Chamber of Commerce. I hope with both of these affiliations I will be able to add to charitable causes. In January of 2018 I was elected to the Allendale Chamber of Commerce as recording secretary.  In 2005 I moved to Allendale and have been blessed to be part of this wonderful community.  Currently (2023) I am the VP of the Allendale/Saddle River Rotary, Chamber of Commerce member, and Member of the Allendale Women's Club.  

Personal Background

Growing up in upstate New York surrounded by a large family was certainly a blessing. I moved to New York City following college and have remained in the NY/NJ metropolitan area since. My love of the theater, and all of the wonders of NYC will keep me close to NYC. The quiet and security of the suburbs will keep me here! For 18 years I lived in Franklin Lakes and prior to that in Ramsey. In 2005 I moved from Franklin Lakes to a quaint Victorian home in Allendale, NJ. It is the best of both worlds. Walking to town, and close to NYC&>

Communities I Serve

Prior to moving to Franklin Lakes in 1987 I lived in Ramsey, New Jersey. To this day, there are still many services that I use in Ramsey! Other towns I know well include Allendale, Wyckoff, Glen Rock, Saddle River, and Oakland. Now that I have been in real estate for 13 years my clients have sought me out to help them with other properties such as Lake Hopatcong, North Bergen, Hoboken and North Haledon to name a few. I'm extremely grateful to all of these clients that had the confidence to go outside my local territory to help them with the sale or purchase of a home
