As a 3rd generation realtor, Todd James grew up in commercial and residential sales in the Washington DC Metro area. TJ, as his friends call him, began his career almost 30 years ago in the construction/ building industry. That experience provided him with real hands on expertise in all phases of residential and commercial real estate. His extensive work in commercial construction management afforded him the ability to manage multiple projects, residential additions and home improvements. This allowed him to master the art of negotiation.
For the past several years, TJ has focused on residential and commercial sales and leasing in Somerset County, New Jersey. He also ventures into central and northern New Jersey. As a NJ realtor and a HSAR director, he finds himself working closely with a very diverse group of clientele as well as an exceptional team of real estate professionals from across the country.
TJ is known for his easy going, friendly, communicative style. His clients appreciate his attention to detail and ability to overcome challenges with responsiveness and patience. When he is not busy with clients, TJ can usually be found spending quality time with his amazing wife, Amy and their three very active dogs. His favorite hobbies are fishing, tending to his large vegetable garden, participating in realtor care days or volunteering for one of many community outreach programs. He often cooks trays and trays of food to serve to the less fortunate. He and his wife also really enjoy entertaining family and friends. Everyone is always welcome in their home.
