My name is Jana Parker and I'm your favorite Real Estate Guru.

I am a New York native bringing nothing short of patience, consistency, tenacity, and persistence to each transaction to get my client exactly where they need to be. My warm personality will make you feel right at home before you even sell/buy your own.

My career in Real Estate began over 10 years ago as a Transaction Paralegal in New York. My professionalism, communication skills, and attention to detail all began in that role. Being a paralegal has given me the advantage of knowing real estate outside of the lens of just your average agent. I've had experience with contracts, negotiations, title review, bank clearance, and all the other aspects included in a real estate sales transaction even down to post-closing. I have been the main liasion on over 500 transactions while in this position. This has given me the exposure I needed by networking with a number of loan officers, title companies, attorneys, agents, co-op boards, developers, appraisers, inspectors, sellers, and most of all buyers. How does that help you? Now you're 1 on 1 with a person that can oversee your transaction while understanding legal contracts, knowing whats required to clear a loan, providing a large network to get all parts of the job done, and having the confidence to know what it takes to get you to your closing day.

After many years as a paralegal, I decided to shift my career into sales. In 2018, I decided to join a Brooklyn brokerage and expand my experience into the rental market. Within my first year at the brokerage, I closed 50 deals and resulted in being one of the Top Producers in 2020. In this role, I developed even more patience in a fast-paced industry and enhanced my knowledge analytically and strategically of the real estate market. Rentals helped me realized that communication will always be key and negotiating efficiently will seal the deal. I've been able to manage accounts and landlord portfolios while also closing rental transactions as a closing manager. Understanding legal jargon and desirable terms of negotiation has been a favorable addition to my skill set. Contrary to the belief, it's not always about how much you pay but also how beneficial the terms are for all parties involved.

In 2020 I relocated to New Jersey as the pandemic made me realize that I too, wanted more bang for my buck! Shortly after moving, I decided that I wanted to bring my talent to New Jersey and become a realtor here as well. I took my real estate exam, passed, and moved forward with finding a brokerage to be affiliated with. In October 2021, I decided to join Coldwell Bankers in Hoboken. Coldwell Bankers has consistently provided me with enough resources and support to make me feel secure enough to tackle a market that I wasn't at first used to. Let's be honest though, nothing intimidates a New Yorker. Here I am, ready and excited to help you find your sweet spot right here in New Jersey.
