We met at the University of New Hampshire. After graduation we came to New York City, where Lee studied at the NeighborhoodPlayhouse School of Theater and Jon got a master's degree from NYU. After serving in the army Jon became an internationally known operatic tenor (stage name Jon Garrison), singing leading roles throughout the world and locally with the Metropolitan Opera, NY City Opera, and NY Philharmonic. Lee co-founded and operated The Children's Exchange, a sucessful chain of children's stores in Bergen County.
