I was born in Hartford, CT, the daughter of two bright parents. My Dad was a nuclear engineer for Westinghouse, so the family was transferred to the Pittsburgh, PA, area in 1964. My parents built a home in the Murrysville, PA area where we remained until I graduated from Franklin Regional High School in 1977. I went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh in the City graduating with a BA in 1981. Loving to learn, after working for a few years with at risk children, I went on to Duquesne University School of Law, obtaining my Juris Doctorate Degree with honors (Law Review) in 1989.

I practiced law for 20 years, focusing primarily on litigation, but also handling real estate matters and closings. Moreover, my family members were involved in real estate sales and development since the 1960s. As a result, I followed the trends in the Real Estate Industry for many years. Wanting to make a career shift, in 2008 I obtained my PA Associates Broker License, returned to Pennsylvania, closed my legal practice and never looked back. I have now worked exclusively in real estate since 2011.

Returning to my old stomping ground in 2009, I now live in Delmont, Westmoreland County. Over the years, my family has lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, Maine and Texas. Additionally, I have traveled quite extensively overseas. I have friends living across the country and abroad. Because of this, I have the unique ability to appreciate Pittsburgh, her history and rich cultural heritage. I love showing off the City to people visiting or relocating to the area. I lived in the City’s East End for 12 wonderful years.

Although most of my work has been in East Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties, I have also worked in North Allegheny, Indiana, and Armstrong Counties and have stayed involved in referral transactions in Eastern PA, Ohio, Maine and Texas. My varied experience has allowed me to work with customers on residential and commercial transactions.

I believe in giving back so for the past 30+ years I have been involved in a number of different volunteer activities including, Big Brother/Big Sisters, the Community Food Bank, Parent’s Anonymous, working as Guardian Ad Litem, singing in regional choirs, singing in Diocesan choirs, teaching Religious Ed, teaching RICA, sitting on various Boards, Cantoring at the Catholic Church, serving seniors in our Faith community, volunteering for Rails to Trails, visiting nursing homes, Lectoring at the Catholic Churches and more. I hardly remember a time when I wasn’t volunteering.

My hobbies include: gardening, cooking, golfing, traveling, singing, my pets, politics, working with at risk children and classical music.

I give to the Children’s Miracle Network (funds going to local Children’s Hospitals) and/or Food for the Poor with each closed real estate transaction.
