Hello, my name is Katie Wymard and I look forward to helping you buy or sell your home. I know from first hand experience the thrill of purchasing your first home, as well as, the excitement of transitioning into a new home as your lifestyle and needs change.

I moved to Pittsburgh 20 years ago from rural Lancaster County, PA to attend the University of Pittsburgh. During my time at Pitt, I fell in love with this city and the greater Pittsburgh area and have called it home since then. I literally ran all over the city of Pittsburgh for 4 years as a member of Pitt’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. After graduating from Pitt, my studies took me down Fifth Avenue to Duquesne University School of Law. I graduated from law school in 2005 and soon thereafter bought my first home in Pittsburgh’s East End.

Since buying my first home in Point Breeze, my household has definitely grown. What started out as me and my rescue dog has evolved into me, my husband, 3 children, 2 dogs and a fish! Needless to say, I had to expand my square footage and went through the process of selling that home and purchasing a new one.

Even though it has been a number of years since I purchased my first home, I remember that day like it was yesterday and what a huge undertaking it was. Going through it a second time taught me more about the process and transition. I will use not only my firsthand experience in the buying and selling process to help you achieve your real estate goals, but also my education and experience as a licensed attorney. I understand the intricacies of contracts, the importance of paying attention to details, that the best results come from research, preparation, and hard work and how to negotiate the absolute best deals for my clients.
