Originally from North Carolina, I joined the military. Upon the death of my husband, I departed to raise my daughters and to complete a degree in Business. After residing in Radcliff, Ky and Hinesville, Ga, I relocated to Columbia, SC in 2005.

I visited Columbia on a beautiful Sunday in search of a home. The agent who greeted us was very pleasant, kind and had the “just right personality” for Sunday house hunting. By the end of the day the choice was a new development. I decided to rent an apartment until the home was complete, meaning, he had the pleasure of seeing me at least every other day until closing. Even in the few hiccups of building a new home, he was continuously good-spirited and made the experience enjoyable. Always prompt and helpful and ensured I was satisfied. Took pride in his job and loved helping people. I placed that key in the door of our new home as a “Satisfied Client”. Satisfied indeed! He was one of the most professional, honest, hardworking people I knew and left a lasting impact on my life. At that time, I became interested in becoming a real estate agent and I wanted to be the person to my clients that he was to me.

A long time coming, but I, that loving mother of now three adult children, am blessed with the opportunity to finally step into the shoes of an agent. I am eager to see what lives I can positively impact. As a Retention NCO in the military I received joy aiding soldiers in decisions on their career and watching them sign new contracts to extend their years in serving. As a Recruiting Manager, it touched my heart seeing applicants in tears when given their employment start date during the recent economic struggle.
