Ginger P. King was born, raised and lives in the Heart of Vienna, VA. As a daughter of a builder, she has always been around and loved residential real estate construction, marketing and sales. She is a licensed REALTOR, in Virginia and Florida. As a REALTOR with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Vienna, she focuses primarily on marketing and selling residential properties in Northern Virginia. Ginger earned a B.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland, graduating summa cum laude. She enjoyed a successful Federal Government career serving in Washington, D.C., and Europe and spanning 5 major agencies, including the Department of Energy where she was Director of Education and Information for Radioactive Waste Management. As such, she developed a 6,000-page curriculum, headed up a 13-country Alliance for Education in Radioactive Waste Management, was Executive Producer of Educational Videos, Co-Producer of a Made-for-TV Film/Documentary, authored and presented numerous professional papers and co-authored a book on radioactive waste management. After taking an early out from the government, Ginger became Dean and Chief Operating Officer of Presidential Classroom for Young Americans (a non-profit, non-partisan civic education organization) where she recruited and trained instructors from the Government, the U.S. Military and foreign countries, developed student educational programs, was liaison to the White House, and over time managed some 40,000-50,000 outstanding junior and senior high school students from around the country and around the world as they came to Washington to experience national and international policymaking, politics and protocol.
