Business Philosophy

My Husband Alan & I have been helping people buy and sell homes for over 30 years. We believe communication is the key to a smooth transaction. We listen to the clients wants & needs and keep them apprised of the progress. People like to know you care about them. Providing information and answering questions as they come up helps relieve some of their concerns. We take care of their needs.

Over 80% of our business has been referrals from past clients or repeat business.

A Little Bit About Me

I grew up in Central Idaho.  I had a custom sewing and alteration business for several years that eventually evolved to become a Fabric Store where I sold fabrics, sewing notions, patterns, etc.  I continued with the custom sewing and also taught sewing classes.

I sold this business and moved to Southern Idaho where I worked for a manufacturing company that made and sold horse tack. This business also assembled the motorcycle Flac Jackets for Hannah Racing Products.  When this company closed it's doors I bought the Flac Jacket portion of the business and continued with this business for a couple more years until I moved to Tucson in 1985 where I got into the Real Estate business.

1985-1986 Tucson, AZ. Worked at Merrill Lynch Realty as associate Realtor.
1986-1988 Ran Relocation department for Merrill Lynch. Doing BPO’s for incoming Corporate Relocation properties as well as REO’s. Made sure utilities were on, properties maintained; bills paid and the utilities turned off when property closed. Weekly checked each property. Bi-weekly updated the BPO’s and adjusted the prices as necessary. Bi-weekly reports  for each client. Handled incoming referrals by assigning them to agent and forwarding feedback to company referring. Also found company for outgoing referrals and kept in touch with them as to the progress.
1988-1991 Worked with Coldwell Banker Success Southwest in Tucson as Associate Broker. Member of Relocation team. Took annual certification training thru Cendant. Closed average of 1-2 referrals per month.
1991-1994 Worked with Re/Max Realty in Tucson, AZ as Associate Broker. A member of the Cendant relocation team. Closed an average of 1-2 relocation referrals a month. Took classes to stay abreast of new changes.
1994-1997 Was co-owner of a national franchise with my husband Alan. Was Designated Broker. Took their extensive training to be the VIP Relocation Director for our company. Handled incoming and outgoing referrals.
1997-2005 Associated with Coldwell Banker Success Southwest Real Estate in Tucson AZ. and a member of the relocation team. In 1998-1999 Raytheon relocated approx. 1200 families from Texas & California. My husband Alan and I closed 52 transactions just from Raytheon transferees as well as our regular business. Most transferees had relocation packages so we worked thru the relocation company.

2006-2008 Sparks, NV Associated with Coldwell Banker. Member of the Relocation team.

2008-2014 Rocklin, CA Associated with Lyon Real Estate.
2014- Present –Joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as Sales Associate. Member of the Relocation team.

Community Involvement

* Member of Kiwanis Clubs. Headed yearly event to take needy children shopping at Christmas time. Co-ordinated with the schools to find the kids most in need.

As a member of the Club, I headed fund raisers to raise money to help the local needy kids. Was a part of a program to gather used books to give to families living in motels or that were homeless. One of the clubs I was a member of refurbished bikes and gave them to needy kids along with helmets. We had safety training for the kids before they could take the bikes home.

* Volunteered at Elementary School two mornings a week. Helped with the reading program and read with the kids.

* Recording secretary of the Prepare & Share Club in the community we live in.
