How my experience and training will help you

My career in marketing, advertising, sales, PR, special events, and working with VIPS at high levels of Corporate America, government, and nonprofits has given me a great appreciation for what it takes to serve my clients well.
I am a certified Previews International Specialist, a member of the elite Coldwell Banker luxury team. When marketing homes, I take extra efforts to develop evocative copy and descriptions so your home will stand out from the rest. At the same time, I’ll hire often professionals to take superbly lit and framed photographs for top quality brochures and virtual tours. Based on my career in marketing, I take a unique approach to "Branding" homes based on the premise that every home is in fact different, and will appeal to unique buyers. It is a process that involves for critical thinking and creating writing and marketing and has enabled me to regularly "beat the comps" when I list and sell homes.
I am a Certified Negotiation Specialist. In this market, there is a great deal at stake in every sale – buyers and sellers are routinely negotiating through wildly different asking and offer prices. Whether working with Sellers or Buyers, I have saved my clients huge amounts of money through skillful negotiations.

I am also a Relocation Specialist (part of Cartus) for both Buyers and Sellers, specialized programs to assist families involved in corporate relocations. I am proud to help military families and veterans through the USAA Movers Advantage program.

Finally, real estate is a complex process and sometimes, a legal minefield. I regularly take Continuing Education courses so I can stay on top of the ever-changing legal issues in real estate. This enables me to advise my clients, especially when usual issues arise.

It is All About the MIssion

There is a local gentleman in the area that regularly sends me referrals. He knows hundreds of agents and yet only sends people to me. He says it is because, "For David, it is about the Mission, not the Commission."

I am thrilled to dedicate myself to helping families throughout the complex, emotional, sometimes frustrating, and occasionally joyful process of buying and selling real estate. They say real estate is one of the most stressful experiences in life -- part of the answer is having an agent who you know looks out for you and your interests as his only goal.

Community Involvement


Prior to real estate, I spent most of my career working as a professional staff member or consultant to major nonprofit groups. I have been involved in everything human services, health charities, animal welfare, conservation, historic preservation, youth development, and much more.
Today, my wife and I are involved in many local and national causes, from the Desert Foothills Land Trust and the Cave Creek Film and Arts Festival, to the American Red Cross and the Nature Conservancy.

I work mainly in the Northeast Valley -- Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree, Fountain Hills, and north Phoenix. When I can help clients in other parts of the Valley of the Sun, I am delighted to do so.
