Why I should be your Realtor
As a full time Arizona licensed residential Realtor®, I specialize in helping both buyers and sellers reach their goals. I have the training, time and experience to assist buyers in their search for the perfect home and assist sellers in their search for the perfect buyer. It takes time and effort to do this and I am dedicated to each of my clients. The majority of transactions I have assisted my clients with involve the age restricted, retirement communities of Sun City West and Sun City, Arizona. I enjoy guiding my clients through the process of selling or buying their home. It is important to know the area and the differences involved in age restricted communities. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to partner with very diverse people who all have unique real estate needs. I listen to what my clients say, give advice when needed, research the market, attempt to find the perfect property, market properties and find the perfect buyer. Home is where the heart is. And I can help you find a place to feel at home. Whether you are buying or selling you've come to the right place.
Education and Training
I believe in bettering myself whenever the opportunity arises. After receiving my initial training to receive my Arizona state real estate license, I knew that if I wanted to be successful as a Realtor®, I would need to continue to learn this business. We are required to receive 24-hours of continuing education every two years. During my first two years, I went beyond that. I received my SFR® (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource) designation and my GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute) designation. To receive the GRI designation, I had to successfully complete nine courses (64 classroom hours). I feel this significantly increased my real estate knowledge, which is a great asset to my clients. In January of 2014 I received my BPOR (Broker's Price Opinion Resource) certification. This has assisted me in better determining the value of residential real estate and therefore, also assists my sellers and buyers.
Awards And Designations
Awards - I started my real estate career with Ken Meade Realty in 2011. I received the "Rookie of the Year" for 2012 by Steve Meade, the president of Ken Meade Realty. I was very honored to receive this award. I couldn't have done as well as I had done without the help of so many of my co-workers and my manager. I have enjoyed assisting my clients reach their real estate goals and in so doing that, I have become a Multi-Million Dollar Producer.
Designations - I have worked for and received three designations/certifications. They are:
SFR ® (Short Sale, Foreclosure Resource) 2012
GRI ® (Graduate Realtor ® Institute) 2013
BPOR (Broker Price Opinion Resource) 2014
I was born and raised in the Seattle area of Washington State. I received a BA in Education and taught school for five years before changing careers to Law Enforcement. I was a deputy, detective and sergeant with the King County Sheriff's Office in the Seattle area for 25 years. When my husband and I both retired from the sheriff's office, we decided not to spend another winter in the northwest. We moved to the NW valley of Phoenix and have enjoyed it since 2010. While enjoying retirement, I felt I wasn't quite done working. I attended real estate classes and received my license in July of 2011 with Ken Meade Realty. I was honored to be the "Rookie of the Year" for 2012 and have become a Multi-Million Dollar Producer. In January of 2014, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage acquired Ken Meade Realty and my co-workers and I are a part of a new, big family. Being a Realtor with Coldwell Banker provides me the opportunity with so many resources that enable me to provide superior service to my clients.
