I was raised in La Jolla and graduated from LJHS in 1977. Then I attended University of San Diego and graduated with a Psychology Major and a Business Minor.

After graduating from USD, I became a Real Estate Appraiser. After 4 years I opened Butler & Burns Appraisals for 9 years with 7 employees. Fabulous background for Real Estate. Being a RE Appraiser taught me about floor plans, locations, value assessments and so much more. I traveled the entire county, including Palm Springs, Palm Desert and Temecula.
