Karyn spent her early years in San Anselmo, growing up in one of the most historic homes in Marin County, built in 1892.  After attending College of Marin she continued her education aboard the SS Universe Campus, better known as “Semester at Sea”, travelling 25,000 miles around the world and graduating from Principia College in Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in the field of Education.  Prior to beginning her real estate profession, Karyn spent thirteen years working as a patent paralegal with Intellectual Property firms in San Francisco and Marin.  Eventually she transitioned to a career in real estate knowing that she much preferred  the sense of helping and guiding clients through the process of selling or buying a home rather than working at a computer all day.
