Marcia was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. She attended college in Connecticut where she obtained a BA in accounting/economics and MBA in finance which allowed her to enjoy a 25 year career in investment finance in areas including commercial real estate and mortgage assets.

It was love at first sight when Marcia encountered Marin County while vacationing in the Bay Area several years ago. Captivated by such stunning natural beauty, she decided to make Mill Valley her home, planting and nurturing a beautiful garden on a sunny hillside. She spent many hours enjoying the cool serenity of walking among the redwoods, hiking along the endless trails, being enchanted by the calming sound of brooks cascading down canyons, taking in the fresh air permeated by the aroma of bay trees. These experiences gave her an even greater appreciation for all of the unique and special qualities of the area. In this respite only minutes away from the city she found a sense of community. Entertaining family and friends at her home sparked her desire to engage in real estate in a more personal and meaningful way.
