I have been a resident of Morgan Hill for almost 20 years and began visiting my husband and his family 5 years before that. I have seen Morgan Hill grow and change over the years and I understand the nuances of the neighborhoods and the draw of downtown. I am fortunate to live and work in South County and be a part of this wonderful community.
Education and Training
Upon graduating from California State University at Long Beach with a degree in Home Economics and Interior Design, I began working in Design and Project Management for a firm specializing in professional office solutions. I worked on projects as simple as “I need a keyboard” to “Here is an empty office space, let’s fill it with furniture”. After working in Los Angeles for years, I relocated to the Bay Area. My project management and design experience led me to an office planning position for the corporate headquarters of Mervyn's in Hayward. My largest project was consolidating 2 multi-floor buildings and establishing new office standards. Working with various trades with different views of time frames enhanced my communication and negotiation skills. After working in the corporate world, I began to focus my attention on Real Estate advertising and marketing for a major Bay Area Real Estate company. I developed advertising design and layout and implemented a very successful strategy.
Areas of Expertise
I love everything about a house and a home so after a few years of working in Real Estate marketing, I decided to officially enter the “family business” and become a Realtor. Just like a home, every client is different and so are their needs. I enjoy helping my clients solve their housing puzzle by drawing on my past experiences and skills: space planning, design, time and project management, marketing, documentation, contract review, communication and negotiation. Using these, I can fit the pieces together to make a whole picture. Having moved many times through my parents’ real estate transactions and buying and selling several times with my husband, I’ve been in my clients’ and their families’ shoes. I understand the financial and the emotional side of real estate and I continually strive to make all my clients’ transactions smooth and worry free.
I regularly volunteer at Saint Catherine's Church & School in Morgan Hill. I am an active member of the Parent Teacher Guild and produce the St. Catherine's Fall Musical and have volunteered as a troop leader for the local Girl Scouts troops since 2003.
