More about Ali Babington
I look forward to meeting you ~
Alexandria Jeanette Babington, born in Santa Barbara California, is a fourth generation California native.
Alexandria, fondly known as “Ali”, comes from a long line of real estate enthusiasts, with her Greek immigrant great-grandfather Christopher, holding one of California's first building contractor licenses, and her grandfather Alex, later pioneered land developments and tracts from San Jose to Sonoma. Her mother, Jerilynn Babington, began her career in Bel Air, selling to high profile celebrities. She went on to make a name for herself at the Coldwell Banker family in Orinda, selling the Lesher Estate an astounding three times, which is how Ali began to learn and love the business from a very young age.
While Ali has spent the majority of her life in the Bay Area, she studied Allied Architecture, & Fine Art in Photography at the University of Oregon, in Eugene, but has lived in Florence, Italy, and Maui, Hawaii, while traveled extensively throughout her lifetime.
After graduating from college, Ali put her real estate aspirations on hold to pursue her dream of being a chef, and attended the California Culinary Academy, Le Cordon Bleu, in San Francisco. She spent 14 years growing her own catering and events business, as well as starting a staging company, “Market Ready Staging”, in which she enjoys continued success.
In her spare time Ali volunteers for nonprofit organizations, such as the East Bay Berkeley Humane Society and Wild Care in Marin. Ali’s passions include animals, Ayurveda, design, travel and all things food related. Ali continues to work closely with her broker mother & father, who are with Coldwell Banker in Sonoma County.
Ali currently resides in the beautiful Berkeley Hills with her artist husband, Gibson, their 9 pound rescue Chi-weenie "Shorty”, and their enormous 22 pound rag-doll cat "Charlie".
