I was born in Alliance, Nebraska and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado, Boulder. I was awarded the Eisenhower Evans Academic Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business in 1986. Additionally, I earned my General Contracting License in 2006. I have lived in the Northern Colorado area since 1990. I have been married for over 31 years to my awesome wife Sarah (Registered Nurse) and we have three wonderful children, Jenna (Kindergarten Teacher), A.J. (Project Engineer) and Tanner (Student, Athlete and Viola musician. When not practicing real estate I enjoy golfing, fishing, traveling and watching Tanner play lacrosse. We are strong supporters of CSU athletics including the CSU Men’s Lacrosse team. Go RAMS!

Presently, I am a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate. My real estate career began in 2006 where I utilized my contracting background and knowledge as a real estate Investor to flip homes. In 2009, I became a fully licensed Realtor concentrating on helping families stay out of foreclosure through successful short sale transactions. I am very proud that I helped over 100 plus families stay out of foreclosure during the recession. I still specialize in helping homeowners who are behind on their payments as well as helping couples who are navigating divorce.

The Key Group Team helped over 150 families each year. I personally sell 60-70 homes per year (The average real estate agent sells 7 homes per year nationally.) I consistently rank in the top 100 of ALL Realtors in Colorado and top 1 % in the United States. I was Awarded BEST Real Estate Agents in Colorado 2017 and 2019 by Realtrends. The Key Group is ranked #1 in unit sells for Coldwell Banker Colorado year over year, and the top 10 in the state amoungest all real estate companies. 

My concentration has been helping individuals and families buy and sell in a more traditional market. I feel my biggest gift to clients is being able to share my broad experience with all types of markets and transactions including new construction, resale, short sales, foreclosures, corporate relocation, divorce and probate. Not all Realtors are cut from the same cloth; there is no substitute for experience! I utilize many analytical tools to make sure my Buyer clients aren’t paying too much for a home and my Seller clients are getting top dollar when they sell. This can be a real tricky business and my clients can rely on knowledge from all the twist and turns I have faced selling over 500 plus homes thus far in my career. I manage my time and business to allow for community involvement. I have served on the board for the Fort Collins Youth Vipers Lacrosse Club, and participated as the spirit wear coordinator for the CSU Men’s Lacrosse Team. I financially support several nonprofit organizations each year.
