Lost at the head of a moist valley, this rare Lower Crystal Park site is located on a grassy shelf surrounded by mixed forest and colorful rock outcroppings. Total drive time to the security gate is about six minutes. Total drive time from the lot to Colorado Springs city center is only 20 minutes. Despite being located so close to Manitou and CS, you cannot see or hear the cities at all, so you are very much hidden in the woods. Crystal Park is like a resort. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool heated to 90 degrees, stocked fishing lake (no license required), clubhouse, tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, a playground and two heliports. It's 2000 acres are surrounded on three sides by public (but unreachable) lands where you can hike for miles. Crystal Park has its own volunteer fire department, plus a "must come" contract with Manitou Fire Dept. Crystal Park also boasts the finest and most stable building soil in Colorado, original decomposed granite, no landslide material, no expansive soils. Come see it and be amazed.
