More about Ben Dursch

Ben Dursch is a Realtor® with a commitment to exceptional service and the highest ethical standards. He is serving his third year on the Professional Standards Committee of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), where he is involved in upholding the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. Prior to that, Ben served a full three-year term on the GCAAR Grievance Committee reviewing all ethics cases and arbitration requests.

• Ben holds the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS®) designation from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the premier credential in seller representation. It is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance personal performance in professionally and ethically representing sellers.

• Ben has also earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation, the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation demonstrates to peers and consumers the commitment to providing outstanding service for real estate buyers.

• In addition, Ben holds the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI®) designation, an advanced level of in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process. It is a level of credentialing that less than 15% of all agents nationwide have completed.

Ben’s philosophy is to educate and empower his clients with the knowledge required to make the right decisions throughout the transaction process, from property search to settlement. For this reason he offers free consultations, for both buyers and sellers, to discuss the housing market, mortgage applications, types of financing, home inspections, contract documents, and settlement procedures.

Experienced at designing and managing home renovations, as well as landscaping and staging, Ben consults with sellers on how to present a property for the market. He also consults with buyers who desire updates to their new homes after settlement.

At Boston University Ben studied anthropology and comparative religion. After relocating to New York he worked in promotions-marketing for Nickelodeon and internet/new media for MTV Networks. Ben also worked pro bono with the Advertising Club of New York where he managed promotional and advertising campaigns for non-profit organizations.
