What Do You Expect in a Realtor?
I would like to think that you expect a high standard of skill - for that person to know the types of contracts exist, what they mean and when is the best time to use which one. You want to know the benefits and risks all along the way. It is contract knowledge and experience ... it is the negotiation ... it is facilitating - in a way that works for you, the customer - the sale or purchase of the property you desire, in the least amount of time possible, and at the best price possible.
You expect your realtor to have local knowledge. Sometimes it is specific to your neighborhood; sometimes it is broader. But a realtor with their finger on the pulse ought to be able to describe with ease some of the trends currently happening in their area.
One of the things I deeply value about Coldwell Banker is its 111 years of history as a company with roots in honesty and integrity. To this day, Coldwell Banker keeps a gentle eye on its agents to make sure that that reputation stays clean. It also provides us with outstanding training, development, marketing services and training, THE largest web presence possible ... right off the bat. Like many deeply established companies in this country, it has stayed in its top spot by providing its agents with the best possible support in the market.
I hope you also expect that your realtor is going to work for you, not for themselves. A home sale or purchase is about the customer; the agent is the facilitator, the door opener, the guide.
If you check out my profiles on Zillow, Trulia and many other site, I believe that you will find that I am the kind of agent who delivers the results that people need and want, that I meet or exceed their expectations. Genuine customers have written genuine reviews of their experiences with me, and you will also see by the number of reviews and transactions, I am a full time, professional agent, in good professional standing among her peers.
Sarasota is one of Florida's most beautiful, cosmpolitan cities with a rich and diverse history. We have extraordinary dining, golf, tennis, even cricket, not to mention diverse festivals. Sarasota offers theater, opera, ballet, art and science museums, marine research and education facilities.
And yet we are comfortably small.
Siesta Key, with its wide, white sand beaches, is voted one of our nation's Top 10 beaches, year after year. It is perfect for long walks on the beach, experiencing sunrise or sunset, visiting the village with its many shops and restaurants. The intimate shopping and dining experiences of St Armand's Circle, a little bit of big city in a small town location. The excitement and stroll-ability of downtown with its theaters and opera house.
Whether you are buying or selling, I work with you towards the common goals of best price, shortest amount of time, making each transaction as smooth and easy as possible. Educating my customers is a priority so that they can make an informed decision every step of the way.
Call me to receive a complimentary market analysis of your home, or to schedule a buyer's consultation. It is my pleasure to help you.
I moved to Sarasota in 2007 after living in the UK for 18 years. Becoming acclimated to the US again after all that time was as interesting and challenging as it was to move to England in 1988, except this time I was doing it on my own, as a single parent.
Like many "middle aged" people who move to Florida, I have a parent who has become increasingly vulnerable, and I am here to help him. It is not surprising then that I excel in helping people who are also in a similar situation, or having to sell property through trusts or as part of an estate. That paralegal degree I earned comes in handy when it comes to maneuvering through all the necessary paperwork, and the counseling degree helps too because it is typically an emotionally stressful time for family members.
A former Vice President of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals (UK), I have a tremendous grounding in providing superior service for my customers. I believe in using professional photography, no matter the price point. You see, when your listing goes live through me, within minutes it is live on over 900 websites globally, and over 85,000 IDX feeds through Coldwell Banker alone. It's like internet dating - you want your pictures to look HOT; you want the words written to convey not only the facts about the property and its location, but also to intrigue the reader. Over 90% of people looking for a new home start their search on the web, long before they start working with a realtor. First impressions count!
My real estate qualifications including in-depth study and practice in marketing luxury properties (MILHM); assisting seniors in the sale and purchase of properties (SRES), and short sales (SSRS)! I started in real estate in 2008; I am very very experienced with short sales and foreclosures, getting the job done right first time! Previews Property Specialist is a Coldwell Banker specific qualification, earned through the listing and sales of million dollar plus homes.
The property sale or purchase is about you - your needs and desires. I bring the experience and skill and fun to the table. Fun ... that's right. There is no written rule that says you cannot have fun along the way, so let's do it!
