About Tarran

My husband and I have lived in North Fulton for 23 years and it has been a fabulous area in which to raise our family. Exceptional schools, access to the Greenway, proximity to multiple Chattahoochee River National Recreation Areas, shopping, and entertainment are all reasons why so many people choose the Atlanta North Metro area to call home.  We have two children, Morgan and Addison, and they both graduated from Alpharetta High School and the University of South Carolina.

Like so many adults I have had multiple careers over the course of my adult life. I graduated from Mizzou with an Atmospheric Science degree and worked for the National Weather Service as a meteorologist and service hydrologist. My second career was in education. I received my certification and Master of Education in Multiple and Severe Disabilities from Georgia State University and worked for Fulton County Schools for almost seven years. As a Realtor I combine the skill sets of both careers to serve my clients in a unique way. I manage the real estate transaction analytically while educating my clients so they can make the best decision to meet their needs. As a former special education teacher my level of patience, calm demeanor, and exceptional communication skills are second to none when negotiating a real estate transaction.

Life is about making memories and travel has been one avenue for creating our family memories. Adventure and eco travel has taken us whitewater rafting and camping the East Fork of the Salmon River, sea kayaking and snorkeling Glover’s Reef on Southwest Cay Belize, deep sea fishing in Kauai and reeling in a 180 pound yellowfin tuna are some of our favorite memories. Although our yearly pilgrimage to Pittsburgh for a Steeler game is not defined as adventure travel, it is always an exciting trip! Go Steelers!

I look forward to assisting you in creating a positive memory as we negotiate your real estate transaction!
