Born and raised in Honolulu, Laura began her residential real estate career in 2014 at Coldwell Banker Realty. Just as she selected CBR for its reputation as Hawaii’s top brokerage firm, she chose to develop her creative, analytical, and negotiation skills in retail advertising and sales promotion at Hawaii’s premier department store, Liberty House. The TV commercials she produced won local and national awards. She gained national experience when Liberty House merged with Macy’s and she joined the Macy's West Special Services team, establishing the retailer's national tourism program in the Hawaii market. She further broadened her career by guiding and advancing the Hawaii chapters of two non-profit trade associations. Little did she realize at the time that the relationships established while managing meetings, events, and membership for the Institute of Real Estate Management, an association for condominium site managers, would be invaluable to her today.

As a residential real estate professional, Laura has been recognized with the prestigious Coldwell Banker 2021 International President's Award representing the top 7% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide, and the 2019 International Sterling Society Award. In 2015 and 2016, her peers honored her with the Coldwell Banker Realty Mission Award for her willingness to help them succeed, and in 2023, in recognition of providing exceptional client service, she was selected as a nominee for the Honolulu Board of Realtors Aloha Aina Award. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Hawaii Association of Realtors, Honolulu Board of Realtors, and a past leader of the HBR Metro Regional Group.

Laura is a graduate of Punahou School and Simmons College (now University) in Boston, MA where she received a degree in Management. She is a former director and past president of the Punahou Alumni Association and has led reunion planning and fund-raising for most of her Punahou class reunions. The Punahou Alumni Association honored her volunteer service with the 2021 Old School Award. In addition, Laura has actively promoted Simmons University to high school students in her community. She is a member of the Hawaii Society of Business Professionals and Aloha Society of Association Executives.

Gary, her husband of 40+ years, is a freelance video producer, director, and editor. Their two daughters live in Brooklyn, NY and Portland, OR. Laura enjoys her early morning group workout, tennis, skiing, baking, and cooking.
