Edgar Navia

I was born in Chicago, to Mexican immigrant parents and have three sisters. In my early childhood years, I remember moving from one neighborhood to another. Attending different schools and making friends was a challenge. My parents were hard workers and eventually purchased our home. It was our home, our safe place and no more moving from one neighborhood to another. As a child and even today, I look at my parents as role models.
I started my career in Computer Aided Design (CAD) working on engineering and reverse engineering projects. My emphasis was to exceed my client’s expectations. Years later I met and became friends with a Real Estate broker. With my experience in CAD, he gave me assignments to create a couple of floor plans and property brochures for commercial buildings he had for sale. It was then I found the interest and passion for Real Estate. He challenged me to take the Real Estate license, and I did. As a Broker I have challenged myself to achieve certifications through the National Association of Realtors, such as: Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource (SFR) and Realtors Commitment to Excellence (C2EX).
When I’m not working on my Real Estate projects, I enjoy reading, restoring antique furniture and other items, working on my house and spending time with my wife and dogs.
I am very passionate about real estate investment. My goal is to assist my clients find their needs and wants in a property. As well as those who are looking to sell their property.
