Business Philosophy: I believe a real estate transaction is one of the most stressful experiences in life.  My goal is to make this transaction as smooth as possible. To keep you as my client(s) calm and happy.  I'm the one you can reach out to with any questions, comments and be the "calm in the storm."  We will be a "team" during the process with the end result make everyone involved in a happy ending.  I received my first real estate license in 1978 in North Carolina. With my experience of living in 6 states, doing corporate and non corporate moves I can relate to any side of a transaction. Moving to Illinois in 1994 I also continued selling real estate. My experience with all ages and stages of buyers has guided me through many different types of transactions.

Awards And Designations

I am a multi million dollar producer and have achieved the 100% level award at my previous real estate firm. I am also a Certified Distressed Property Expert having completed a 2 day special course for short sales and foreclosures.

Areas of Expertise

Having lived in 6 states I feel I can relate to the buyer and seller who is relocating either into or out of our area. I am one of the select agents in the Chicago area approved to work with McDonald's transferees. Buying and selling a home is one of life's biggest decisions. I have also worked with new construction extensively having personally built 2 homes and lived through a major home addition. I also have an interest in interior design, antiques and have taken architectural drawing.

Community Involvement

My husband and I are members of Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Charles as well as the Downtown St. Charles Partnership which is dedicated to promoting business in the downtown area. I am also a member of the Thornapple Questers, PEO Chapter OB, and the Kane County District Attorney's Second Chance Program.

Personal Background

I grew up in the Minneapolis area and moved from there during my college years to Columbus, Ohio. From Columbus I moved to Lancaster, California which is in the Mojave Desert. Then after 2 years it was on to New Jersey, living in Metuchen. In California and New Jersey I worked in banking doing everything from new accounts to safe deposit, to the trust department. After several years in New Jersey I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where I began my real estate career. I was licensed as a broker in Charlotte and sold real estate there for 6 years before moving to St. Charles, IL. I have lived here since 1994 and was also licensed that year. I have a daughter and stepson who both live in St. Charles. My husband and I are active in the community believing that a thriving community makes your home values stable and quality of life here is one of the best we've enjoyed.
