Established in 1694, Easton is an idyllic and colorful college town in the South-Eastern part of Massachusetts. Thanks to the Ames Family, founders of a prominent shovel company, the town had an economic boom in the 1800s. The Ames are also credited with the plethora of historic landmark buildings by H.H. Richardson, famed architect of Trinity Church in Boston, that still stand throughout the town today.
Routes 138, 106, 123 all pass through Easton while Route 495 is easily accessible to the South. These highways allow commuters to reach Providence, Boston, and Cape Cod with ease.
