Whether it’s the hospitality industry or the real estate industry, Jim Polhemus knows a thing or two about outstanding client care. After a successful 35+ year career in the hospitality industry, Jim brings his talent for serving clients’ best interests to the Coldwell Banker® offices in Bethesda, Maryland, Coastal Delaware and Buckhead West Paces Ferry, Georgia. In addition to owning his own independent Event Planning and Hospitality Consulting firm, Jim held roles where he was responsible for sales, event planning and operations teams for Hyatt Hotels, Westin Hotels and the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington DC. One of his greatest highlights was coordinating the 50th Anniversary of the NATO Treaty signing with the 44 Heads of State.

 

Jim was actually born in Bethesda, Maryland, and has most recently lived in Montgomery County for the past 30 years, but his family has lived in Fenwick Island, Delaware, Ocean City, Maryland, and Buckhead in Atlanta for decades. Jim is licensed in Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware and Georgia. During his DC years, Jim lived in Georgetown and had previously owned a business out at the Delaware shore. Jim’s unique and broad-reaching geographical expertise benefits buyers as he finds them the ideal home that meets their essential criteria.

Jim holds degrees in both Hospitality Management and Marketing from Johnson & Wales University. In his spare time, he enjoys sports (as he wrestled in college), photography and antique Jaguar cars.
