More about Anita White

Professional Ethic and Commitment

My business philosophy is simple: i commit honesty, loyalty and respect to clients, customers and colleagues. As a coach, contract specialist and real estate consultant, I am highly skilled in assisting people in recognizing their resources in order to maximize opportunities for growth and success in any area of their life. This is accomplished through the collaborative efforts of all those involved in the real estate transaction. My notion is that I help people improve the quality of their lives. Where we live is a reflection of who we are. We design the outer world to bring feelings of comfort, security, beauty and safety. Though-out the home selling and buying process, I am cognoscente of the pace at which the client is most comfortable. I calibrate the need of the client over my own. For over 17 years, i have received high regard and trust from not only my home buying and selling clients, but also lenders, inspectors, and other agents in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. It is my plan to continue this high level of service and look forward to serving you.

Education and Training

I began my real estate career in March of 1997. I was brought into a new construction townhome development project that had been failing to sell. There were thirty eight townhomes to sell and five floor-plans to choose from. The area had challenges with noise from a freeway close and multifamily housing nearby. With tenacity, strategy and marketing collaboration I created a creative hosting and showing style. I used language new prospective buyers understood. I used my listening skills and psychology background to assist clients in honing in on what the client needed and wanted. I always strived to provide them exactly the home they would feel content with. In just eighteen months all of the townhomes were sold and closed. Soon I moved into an amazing family owned brokerage where I grew my real estate experience and flourished in coaching new and seasoned homeowners with their transactions. It wasn’t long that I became one of the prized Top Producers in the country. My coaching techniques and positive philosophy have helped hundreds learn how to buy or sell their property, so they may have their “dreams come home.” I have 15 years of corporate experience which includes, sales/marketing, customer service, purchasing, and as a contract specialist with contract management in a major utility company. Throughout thirty years, I has been involved in many non-profit groups serving as a facilitator for chemical abuse prevention, single and divorced and grief education/support groups. I hold a BA in Psychology with an emphasis on family and organizational systems, and an AS minor in marketing administration.

I continue to be up to date on market trends and the latest industry practices. I enjoy comprehensive continued education and coaching programs.

Are people painting, planting flowers or working on other home projects, indicating pride in home ownership that will also maintain home resale values? These clues will support assessing whether the neighborhood is a good fit for your lifestyle needs.

Communities I Serve

I have assisted clients throughout the 13 county twin cities metropolitan area from offices conveniently located throughout the metro. This metro area coverage includes an office in Stillwater, 2 in St Paul, Woodbury, White Bear Lake, and Hudson, Wisconsin, and I serve a significant portion of western Wisconsin from that office. I also serve the outer regions in Minnesota. I grew up on the Iron Range and feel a deep connection with country property. I am licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin and can coach, refer and facilitate real estate business anywhere in those two states.

Real Estate in Estate

Recently I assisted a family that lost their brother to type 2 diabetes. He died fairly young. One of his siblings called me on a Tuesday morning to come talk with her and her 5 siblings about selling his house. That afternoon I met them at the house. They told me they were all over 65 years of age. As I walked in, I realized they were all in a deep part of the grieving process: one of them in denial, some in disbelief, some anger and some deeply sad. Navigating the emotions and staying enough on point, was a skill I had learned in my Therapeutic Coaching training. My job was a delicate conversation about selling their brothers home. He didn't have a Will so there was a legal process that had to tandem and work with the real estate process. I am grateful for the support of the paralegal that is managing the legal end of this transaction, as well as the other resources I had to garner to get this house on the market. Today I shared this story with a wise woman in my network Dana Olson Erickson?. She suggested I let people know this special area of expertise of real estate in "estate" Coaching. I assist family, friends and others in access the necessary resources to sell a home of a deceased or dying family member. Because of my grief education, coaching and facilitation experiences, I am able to coach family members through the emotional and material process of listing and selling property with solutions and compassion. Whether the property is in probate or not, I am an emphatic professional that can pace and lead the process.
