My Experience

Besides working as a realtor, I worked in the construction industry with my husband, who built hotels, commercial properties, power plants, apartment buildings, and homes as a general contractor and/or subcontractor.  I wore many hats in running the business as the administrator, accountant, and manpower supplier.  With the construction background, I helped multiple clients rehab a house or a commercial building and sell, as well as find the homes with the best quality and workmanship for my buyers, receiving awards as one of the top agents at ReMax.  Another noteworthy experience that added to my love for people and families is working as the National Coordinator for a Non-profit corporation for an exchange student program (Korean American Education Alliance) that my husband and I started after my husband retired from construction.  We worked to help the participants broaden their perspectives and experience the world as being ever closer. As the national coordinator, I provided the support and coordination to bridge the cultural, social, and linguistic gap for over 500 host families and students across the U.S. I also worked as an interpreter/translator for government agencies including the courts, FBI, OSHA, and DEA, and private attorneys.

My Background

Born in Korea, I came to U.S. studying Voice w/piano, and Human Development at the University of Alabama, being the first Koreans (along with my husband) to receive a diploma from the UA. Since then, I have lived in Maryland, Guam, Colorado, Ohio and finally made Minnesota a permanent home after falling in love with the beautiful people, my daughter marrying a Minnesotan.

I and my husband have 3 daughters. I love Jesus and music, and I worked as the church choir director, soloist, or pianist all throughout my life. I am a breast cancer survivor, which has motivated me to live life to the fullest and lead a healthier lifestyle than ever before. I have all kinds of tips for health and well-being!
