The Oyler Group is a young, professional, and dynamic team of full time Real Estate agents. We pride ourselves in our forward thinking, out-of-the-box approach to real estate. The members of the Oyler Group include: Scott Oyler (Lead Agent); Heather Stallmeyer (Team Manager & Closing Coordinator); Erin Fay (Buyer's Specialist); Katie Coughlin (Buyer's Specialist); Jay Ashmore (Commercial Advisor).

The Oyler Group's team approach means that we are nimble and responsive, ensuring our clients are always up to speed on market conditions. We use technology and social media proactively to efficiently and effectively assist our clients with their real estate needs.

About Jay

Jay Ashmore is the Commercial Advisor on the Oyler Group team. Jay's partnership with Scott Oyler has its roots in their Bearcat days at the University of Cincinnati. Jay and Scott remained friends beyond college, and their shared business values and interests have led to a renewed collaboration on the Oyler Group team. Both Jay and Scott are lifelong Cincinnati residents, and together they put their very wide networks to work for Oyler Group commercial clients. Jay's specialty areas include Investment and Owner-Occupied Properties (retail, office, or multi-use); Acquisition and Disposition of Business Assets.

As owner of Dutch’s, a Hyde Park institution, Jay has the entrepreneurial experience to understand what commercial clients need, and to communicate those needs between landlord and tenant. He can assist in identifying the property type and location that would be right for the business -­ both now and to accommodate growth in the future. Jay’s own experience of growing Dutch’s from a one­-man beer/wine carryout to a 2013 “Top Ten” restaurant with nearly 20 employees provides a great perspective for his clients. Jay also has the ability to understand the needs of landlords, a result of his experience with his family’s 4th generation commercial real estate investment/development company, which specializes in multi­-use commercial real estate. Most recently, Jay has been actively engaged with his family’s company in handling property management and new investment opportunities.

Through several years with U.S. Bank’s Private Client Group, Jay also understands the unique financing opportunities associated with commercial real estate. His experience with the “other side” of business lending provides invaluable wisdom to his commercial clients.

With almost 15 years of professional experience, Jay is ready to handle his clients’ commercial real estate transactions, from beginning to end. As an active participant in the Ohio Business Brokers Association, Jay can assist commercial clients with the complete transfer and/or disposition of businesses, including real estate and other business assets.

Jay lives in East Walnut Hills with his wife, Pam, and daughter, Molly (born in early 2016). Jay is an active alumnus of the UC chapter of Sigma Chi, and enjoys attending Bearcat events and playing golf.
