More about Meg Hayes
Meg Hayes has lived in Alexandria, Virginia for over 20 years. She and her husband purchased their first home there in 1991 and raised their four children in the community. In addition, Meg was a small business owner in Old Town who understands local area trends and worked collaboratively with the other small business owners. Her transition to real estate was fueled by her love for the Alexandria community and working collaboratively with others.
Another great career accomplishment was becoming a Naval Officer, and she is proud to be part of that community. Meg worked as a Public Affairs Officer in the Navy for many years. In that capacity, she was called upon to react quickly to any type of situation. Her job also required creativity, problem-solving, diplomacy and relatability, which remain invaluable assets in her real estate practice.
“To connect a buyer with their perfect home, or a seller with a successful sale is an opportunity to make a dream come true, and facilitate a new, hopefully even happier chapter in a client’s life. I am here to guide you with patience, persistence, and attention to the smallest details so you make the best decisions and find the ideal fit.”
Working with both sellers and buyers in the Northern Virginia area, Megan is diligent about maintaining the level of trust she builds with her clients. She cares deeply about her clients’ needs and works very hard to ensure a smooth experience and optimal satisfaction whether buying or selling. Her relationships with banks, inspectors, title companies, and attorneys help to make the transactions flow smoothly.
Born and raised in New York and Chicago, Meg is an undergraduate of Purdue University with a degree in Business Management. She went on to graduate school at Marymount University where she earned an M.Ed. Meg and her husband reside in the Rosemont neighborhood of Alexandria. In her spare time, Meg volunteers with the Campagna Center as a reading tutor, enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel.
