Barbara Barrett

Barbara Barrett is originally from Alaska, the famous Kenai Peninsula, and then the biggest city, Anchorage. Barbara was deeply involved in a variety of facets of real estate for over thirty years. Barbara worked with and represented developers and custom builders as well as individuals and families while in Alaska.

My parents started visiting Sedona in the early seventies, repeatedly suggesting that I needed to check out "the most beautiful area in the world". Finally, after a particularly cold winter, I vacationed in Sedona, discovering the most perfect weather, mild, but having all four seasons. Since relocating permanently to Sedona in 1999, Barbara has focused on assisting individuals and families to achieve their dream of owning a home in one of the most beautiful areas in the world, the red rocks of Sedona.

I started in the real estate business designing, staging, and selling our custom model homes in the subdivisions my family developed in the 1980s. I expanded to selling my client's personal real estate as they asked me to assist in selling personal properties. In addition to listing, marketing, and showing properties, I am also an Accredited Registered Home Staging Expert. Staging a client's home to emphasize its best features adds tremendous value to a listing, and then drawing attention to the property with professional photos.

I enjoy assisting my clients in locating and purchasing their dream homes, helping them realize their vision. I'm often asked to list and sell a property when a client needs to relocate, or wants to downsize or occasionally up-size. Assisting clients find their perfect home or sell a property quickly with the least amount of stress, for the most money in their pocket with a stress-free transition is my goal. I love my job!
