James Parlevliet was born and raised in the same West Hills Neighborhood that he represents and is a graduate of Canoga Park High School's Class of 2000. Having been raised in the same West Hills neighborhood that he serves, James knows and understands the area in a level that many realtors only claim to know. He recognizes the importance of an area that is safe for families, with access to good schools in diverse neighborhoods. He also knows many of the local shopping centers, eateries, schools and entertainment for anyone of all ages. If James recommends a local restaurant or entertainment venue to you... chances are pretty good that he has gone to, tried, and likely frequents that establishment. 

The San Fernando Valley is a very robust and diverse area with access to many of the areas that make the greater Los Angeles area so attractive. Typically, within about an hour, you could be snow-skiing in the winter, enjoying the beach in the summer, and with the great weather, enjoying major theme parks such as Six Flags, Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm all year 'round.  In what other part of the country can you go lay on the beach in the middle of December and its 75 degrees. Its due to mainly the weather that is present in the valley that attracts so many people to Los Angeles. 

James began his journey in Real Estate in the summer of 2018 with the ultimate goal to help someone achieve their dreams of owning their own home. He was awarded his Real Estate Salesperson License from the California Department of Real Estate in January 2019 and subsequently affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty's Calabasas Office in February 2019. Don't let the short amount of time that he has been a Realtor discourage you from hiring James to be your advocate... He brings over 20 years of customer service experience with positions in management in a wide range of industries to the table. He is a fierce advocate for every client he has and vows to be your advocate.   When James is not helping people sell their home or find their dream home, James enjoys trips to the beach and Disneyland, enjoying the nightlife at places like Universal CityWalk and trying new places to eat and enjoy the great weather we have in Los Angeles. James is also an avid triathlete, having completed events like the Pasadena Triathlon, Ventura Triathlon as well as several 5k events supporting local charities in the Los Angeles Area.
