Born and raised in Marin, Eric Schmitt is your local expert and top producing Real Estate Advisor specializing in helping his clients buy and sell Marin County properties. With over 10 years of luxury sales, marketing, negotiating and customer service experience, Eric is an asset to anyone looking to make a real estate transaction. In his first year with Coldwell Banker, Eric was ranked the #1 New Agent in all of North America for sales volume. Since then, Eric has consistently ranked in the Top 1% of Coldwell Banker Agents Worldwide and has been of the top individual agents in Marin County.

In addition to his sales expertise, Eric has over a decade of commercial and residential real estate investment experience, allowing him to confidently guide his clients when dealing with one of the largest investments of their lives, their home. His vast negotiation experience includes everything from  buying and selling real estate to the disposition of a large corporation to a Fortune 500 company. Eric has been involved in well over $200 Million dollars' worth of real estate transactions including single-family homes, multifamily properties, specialty land use, and value-add development properties.
 
A Marin County Native, Eric attended Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield and graduated from The University of San Diego, where he double majored in Business and Marketing and played football on the 2005 mid-major national championship team, coached by Jim Harbaugh. He sits on the Board for the Larkspur Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Marin County Association of Realtors®.
 
Eric lives in downtown Larkspur with his wife Kim and their three daughters. He is a volunteer Varsity Football Coach at Marin Catholic High School and a member of The Guardsmen, an all-volunteer organization focused on enhancing and improving the lives of at-risk youth. When not helping his clients, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, hiking on Mt Tam’s many trails and exploring West Marin.
