More about Katie Jarman
I grew up in Orinda, California and attended Miramonte High School. After attending UC Berkeley, I moved to San Francisco and worked for Shaklee Corporation opening a technical training center. After 5 years, I took a new job at Bank of America where I started as a corporate trainer. I moved around extensively within BofA working in project management in the credit and debit card areas, and on special projects for the retail side of the bank. I revamped the company's world-wide employee suggestion program and their volunteer program. Both projects were extremely successful and gratifying to me. The suggestion program saved the company over $10 million a year.
I left corporate life to raise our daughters and was very involved in the schools. I decided to go into real estate (something I always loved) when my girls were getting ready to leave for college.
My husband and I left our lovely San Francisco home 19 years ago to move to Kentfield for the public schools. We bought a fixer so I am very familiar with the challenges of remodeling. We did 3 remodels on the same house!
Our twin girls are now both in college; one at UC Berkeley and the other at UC Santa Barbara.
My motto is "First Class Service 100% of the Time".
I firmly believe that I can provide my clients with this level of service in all transactions.
I managed a large Customer Service Center at Bank of America. I know what it takes to please customers. A real estate transaction is an emotional decision and a significant amount of money is involved. I'm here to support you and walk you though the process.
I am a firm believer in giving back to my community. My interests are varied and below are some of the non profits that I support:
- San Francisco Opera Guild - 75th Anniversary Chair
- Delta Delta Delta Housing Corporation at UC Berkeley- VP and Remodeling Chair
- National Charity League - President and VP of Activities
- Being Adept Founding Board Member and Event Chair
