More about Brett Wyland
Brett has been in the real estate business since graduating college in 1988 from University of California at Irvine.
Prior to UCI, Brett attended the United States Military Academy at Westpoint, New York. - U.S.M.A.
In the early 1990’s, he obtained his real estate broker’s license, which he has held ever since.
Throughout the years, Brett has maintained and sharpened his selling skills through many different classes and programs including Quantum Management Program for Real Estate, The Masters Series - Mastering the Art of Professional Marketing and Negotiating by Pendley and Assoc., Cartus Broker Network Certified Agent Advantage Specialist and Affinity Training, Five Star Certifications, CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert and SFR- Short Sale and Foreclosure Certifications, K.E.Y.S. for Success classes which were designed to give Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage agents the most up to date training in client protection, negotiation and other skills necessary to assist our agents in being the best in the business.
In addition to the training noted, many of his Relocation clients required additional training, and Brett has worked with Weichert Relocation, Sirva Relocation, Prudential Relocation, Pinnacle Relocation and Realogy Relocation companies in addition to working with the USAA Movers Advantage Program which assists military families with their relocations.
In an industry that has frequent movement by agents to different offices,
Brett has been a solid Sales Agent with essentially one company for over 20 years. Brett was an agent early in his career with Prudential Jon Douglas, which merged with Prudential California, and then sold to Coldwell Banker.
In addition to be an award winning Top Producer year in and year out, Brett served as Manager of the Irvine Branch of Coldwell Banker from 2008 to 2012.
Prior to becoming a Branch Manager at the Irvine - Quail Hill Office, he also served as Assistant Manager/Sales Manager for over 10 years.
Brett has a thorough understanding of the Real Estate Business and has experience with Probate, Divorce, Estate Sales as well as Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Office transactions and 1031 Exchanges and Relocation. He has maintained his own expertise in these categories by attending training classes and has trained numerous agents how to fine tune their skills while managing an office.
Brett has extensive experience with Relocation since 1993.
Brett can assist with all types of “Corporate” including ERC, BMA, Broker Market Opinion and he is very familiar with the reporting necessary on Corporate RELO’s. Some of his Corporate Clients include Altair, USAA (Movers Advantage Program), Cendant, Cartus, Paragon, The MI Group and more.
While starting selling REO’s in 1993 for mostly smaller Credit Unions, Brett has steadily increased his business base. Major clients include Premiere Asset Management/ Wells Fargo, First Bank and Trust, NRT, Service Link, and LPS. Through Asset Management firms, Brett has successfully closed transactions throughout Orange County, California for Chase, Prime, EMC, Ocwen and others.
As an Branch Office Manager, Brett has assisted hundreds of agents with training programs at the office including Marketing, Door Knocking, Financing, Client Contacts, Client Protection, etc.
As an Agent and Top Producer, Brett has kept his training up to date for his numerous Corporate Clients and Negotiation Skills and other training with Coldwell Banker.
As a Team Leader running a successful Sales Team, Brett has helped build the skills of his team members into some of the best agents in the industry. Brett is very proud and happy that many have gone on to become very successful agents in their own business after leaving the team.
