Coldwell Banker: Leland specializes in brokering real estate in San Francisco and the North Bay. He has a diverse background in selling both luxury residential homes and investment properties. During the past 30 years, is a top performing agent for Coldwell Banker, selling over 800 properties for the largest real estate firm in the country. He has performed in the top 1% of Coldwell Banker agents with a nationwide network of over 45,000 agents.

Leland’s sales portfolio includes homes, luxury properties, apartment buildings, multi-use, and triple net leased investments. He has sold some of the largest and most prestigious homes in the Bay Area as well as the largest apartment complexes. He is a member of the SF and Marin County Bar Association and participates in the Estate Planning Trust Sections. Apartment building sales have ranged in size from 2 units to over 200 unit properties. Beyond his strong local client base, he has represented the following organizations in the sale of their real estate assets: The FDIC, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, the University of California, UCSF, and UC Berkeley.

Montgomery Investors: He founded Montgomery Investors, a SEC/NASD securities firm which specialized in raising capital for acquiring and renovating large apartment complexes in the Bay Area. He was the founder and managing principal of the firm. The firm owned, renovated and managed over 600 apartment units in San Francisco, Marin, Alameda & Contra Costa County. He was responsible for analyzing all potential acquisitions; developing financial projections and budgets for each property; and raising investor capital for each investment.

 

Bank of America, Hewlett Packard, Levi Strauss: Prior to entering, real estate brokerage Leland worked in implementing marketing and sales systems for Bank of America, Hewlett Packard and Levi Strauss. He was the strategic manager and responsible for completing the first comprehensive retail sales tracking system at Bank of America which tracked sales for by individual sales representatives. He served was the Director of Marketing for a start-up computer network security firm which was an early innovator in network security utilizing encryption and smart card unique user authentication.

Leland was born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in economics. He played water polo for CAL and worked for the East Bay Regional Park Service during his college years. He is a local softball and soccer coach to his children’s teams. His daughter Ellie attends Tam High and his son Julian has just begun his freshman college year. His wife, Linnea works for the San Francisco Regional Center and assists families in coordinating early intervention medical services for children with special needs.
