Mary Beth MacLennan has been helping clients navigate the world of real estate since 2005, with a particular focus on Lamorinda, Walnut Creek—including Rossmoor—and the surrounding East Bay communities. With her SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation and more than two decades of experience, Mary Beth brings a rare combination of financial expertise, real estate savvy, and genuine care for her clients.

Before real estate, Mary Beth spent more than 15 years as an investment banker in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the financial services industry. She ultimately became a Managing Director at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, now part of Bank of America. That experience gave her a sophisticated understanding of finance, negotiation, complex transactions, and the importance of getting the details right—skills she puts to work every day for her real estate clients.

Today, Mary Beth is consistently among the top performers in the Coldwell Banker network. But for her, success isn't just about numbers. It's about people, relationships, and results. Every client and every transaction is unique, and Mary Beth takes the time to understand what matters most to each person she represents.  A seasoned negotiator, Mary Beth is comfortable tackling complicated situations and finding creative solutions when the path forward isn't obvious. Mary Beth's own life has taken her from coast to coast and across the Pacific. The daughter of a career military officer, she grew up living and traveling throughout the United States and Japan. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California as a Trustee Scholar, earning degrees in Piano Performance and English. When she's not working, you'll likely find Mary Beth with a good book—or making some serious noise with her fellow performers in Maikaze Daiko, a San Francisco-based Japanese taiko drumming ensemble. Yes, she plays the drums. And yes, she brings that same combination of discipline, energy, and passion to real estate.
