Lena Magana

My name is MagdaLena Magana, I have been a Realtor for nearly 40 years. 

I am experienced in selling single family residences as well as leasing and some commercial.  

I have three grown children and four grandkids, and sadly my husband passed 8 years ago. 

I became a realtor in 1986 and started working in the West San Gabriel Valley at Herbert Hawkins in Temple City, a small real estate firm.   

The manager, Lanny Applanap was the best thing that could have ever happened to me early in my carrier, he taught me the principals of real estate, and the best advice that he gave me, which I always repeat to myself, “do not spend your commission until it is in your bank account” 

I met my husband, and we moved to the East San Gabriel Valley, and I spent a year at REMAX Masters in Covina, and not long after my husband and I opened our own real estate business, which included real estate sales, loans and property management. 

I am a Graduate of the Institute of Real Estate, a Senior’ Citizens Specialist, Probate Sales certified.  I volunteered at my previous Association of Realtors CVAR at the Professional Standards committee, the Grievance committee and served as an Ombudsman (person) for many years. And I also speak Spanish my native language. 

I moved to Pasadena three years ago and I feel it’s time to integrate into to the community and become part of it, since I’m here to stay!  

I am now a part of the Coldwell Banker’s family.
